This week I have a bunch of random things going on in my:
1. It was another busy week at school, but tomorrow is the only thing on my mind.
Tomorrow is the day my baby girl turns 1!
She is the second born and I keep getting emotional
when I think about her birthday.
I love seeing her grow, but I really want her to stay little.
I'm so nuts about this that I took pictures of her
before she went to bed tonight, just so I could
remember the final minutes of her as a baby.
Am I crazy? Yes. Do I care? No.
2. My kids had a wonderful time in math this week.
I introduced them to QR codes.
They loved using the codes and being able to bring in their own devices.
3. On Sunday, my sister and I went to a Blackhawks game.
It was so much fun to have some sister time and the Hawks won!
The game put them in the playoffs.
4. I'm trying to decide if I should sign up for a 1/2 marathon this summer.
I ran one about three years ago and thinking of doing another one.
Anyone else signed up for a race this summer?
I need someone to just tell me to sign up already!
5. I got a new pair of running shoes this week.
I'm looking forward to going out Sunday morning and running in them.
I love running in new shoes.
How was your week?
Anyone have fun plans this weekend?
What a sweet baby! I'm in the middle of planning my sweet boy's 6th birthday party. The time really flies!

It goes faster everyday!
DeleteAdorable baby! I haven't had a baby yet but that would be my number one thing - stop growing so fast!
ReplyDeleteNo plans for the weekend - I've just had two weeks of holidays so some catching up before school starts again - perhaps even some card making if I can pull myself away from my computer!

My "baby" is almost 6! I can't believe how fast they grow!
ReplyDeleteI bought new running shoes this week too! Broke them out yesterday. Can't wait until it gets warmer.
I found you as an Illinois blogger! I'm your newest follower. I love to see what is happening in other 3rd grade classrooms.

Run, run, run! I say do it! I have been starting to train for a 5K that I am hoping to run the first weekend in August! I am doing the couch to 5K program. I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love keeping up with what you are doing with your blog!
Amy is right. Find a half somewhere.
DeleteGood luck to you also Amy.

I'll do it! Amy - I'm so proud of you. Where is the run?
DeleteMy 3rd child just turned 1 on Feb. 1st. Time really does fly. It was bitter sweet, but a fun time. I hope y'all had a great bday weekend. Now if only that chunky monkey will learn to walk, my arm is killing me!!
ReplyDeleteGo for the run. I did one in Oct. and loved it. But will probably just stick to 5 and 10ks from now on. Love your blog!!
