Can you really have too much candy?
Yes - if mom is trying to cut out sugar from
her diet and from the rest of the family's food.
This is our collection for both kids - 4 years old and 1 1/2 year old.
What can you do with all that candy?
Donate it!
Our school collects the candy and gives it
to a local charity.
We are really trying to encourage our 4 year old to help others.
I read on FB about a mother who started the "Switch Witch."
Her kids leave a bunch of their candy outside their bedroom.
During the night the "witch" takes the candy and leaves a gift.
I like that idea, but don't want to lie about the witch.
My husband and I decided we are going to tell our daughter
if she donates the candy, she will get to pick out a gift.
She can get a toy, book, movie, etc.
I know she should donate because it is
the nice thing to do,
but a 4 year old doesn't always get that concept.
What do your kids do with all their candy?
Feel free to admit that you just eat it all!
I was just saying how I really don't like having all that candy in the house. Mainly because I have the hardest time staying away from it. Husband is a big candy eater so most if will go to him :) Hopefully it will disappear quickly for my sake!

What a great idea! Unfortunately, I eat it. :( I tried a no sugar kick but it only lasted about 8 hours- Chris can vouch for what I pleasant person I was for that time. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
You can donate the candy to me. I'll eat every last piece. Lol! :)
